It’s always great to catch up with my repeat families, and for Mr. L’s cake smash, mom suggested an Olympic inspired theme instead of just a Fourth of July theme. I thought that was such a fun idea, and I loved adding the touches that nodded to the Olympics that are starting soon. My buddy, Mr. L was on the move, and he certainly was keeping mama busy, zooming across the studio. It’s always interesting to see how each baby will act with their cake smash, and while sometimes there are babies who dig right into their cakes; most are more hesitant, because it is new to them. Mr. L gave his cake a few inquisitive pokes, but I think he had more fun with the gold medal! Who can blame him? Here are some of my favorite images from this sweet boy’s first birthday cake smash.
