My brother Jonathan just turned 24 on April 3rd, as I mentioned Saturday. He is in the reserves and he had his military duty weekend this weekend, so we celebrated his birthday on March 29th instead.
Now, I’m not the only one who likes to shoot in my family.. Jonathan loves to shoot. But he loves to shoot guns, not cameras. (Well, to be fair, he appreciates photography and has dabbled in it himself) Guns are definitely not my thing at all, but I love my brother so I will pretend for a day. 🙂
Here are a few shots I grabbed while we were out on the range.
Here I am shooting a big scary gun. I think it’s a .45. I didn’t like it very much. The rest of the time I shot .22 pistols which were more my speed, in fact you can see proof of my ability to shoot something other than pictures below:
Pretty darn good, considering we were really far away from our targets.
Brian shooting. There was wire mesh between each little booth to prevent your neighbor from getting hit by flying shells. (Not as scary as it sounds.)
Svaya flashing me a “take my picture” smile. 😛
Little gun for a little Svaya. However, that gun is deceptive. I shot it and I was shocked at how much it kicked back.
Here’s Jonathan shooting. If you think to yourself he looks like he knows what he’s doing, you’d be right.
Bryan, Svaya and Jonathan lined up.
Here’s Bryan, he’s Jonathan’s roommate and best friend. I call him my adopted fourth brother since I’ve known him since he was an annoying little squirt.
I just thought this was pretty cool.
Till next time…
The one you thought was cool? Definitely cool. Guns aren’t my thing either, but it looks like you had fun!
