As you witnessed, just a few days ago, it was warm and sunny. I wore a knee length skirt and short sleeve tee shirt, and was perfectly comfortable.
We woke up on Sunday and were getting ready to go get groceries, and I took a peek at the weather. 30 degrees! What?!
Then last night we got a lovely deposit of icy rain, which is the North Texas equivalent of snow. 🙂
Here are a few pictures I managed to snap before I turned into a whiny Texan and ran inside proclaiming I couldn’t feel my fingers anymore.
Also, this morning we went to see the King Tut exhibit that’s currently at the Dallas Museum of Art. It was amazing! I have been interested in Egyptology since I was a little girl, and it still fascinates me. It is amazing to see the intricate workmanship on the jewelry, furniture and statues. It’s awe inspiring to imagine yourself there, over three thousand years ago. I highly recommend checking it out!
Those first couples with the berries are so so pretty. Everything is gray here in Michigan (the snow is melting for now), and I wish we could have some outdoor pictures with color!
Um, yeah. I would run inside too! That looks very cool though– when I lived in TN we got 33 degree rain, but I never got icicles out of it!
whoa those shots are crazy cool!! ha literally. ok i’m a dork whatever 😉 awesome shots brandi!
