I was super excited about this session for so many reasons. I absolutely love getting the chance to do things that are fun and creative, and if you have met me in person, you know I’m rather fond of the color black. L is a friend of mine, and she wanted to do something special to celebrate her 30th birthday. I love seeing women embracing who they are, and embracing getting older and being themselves. So often, we get caught up in our daily lives, especially working, or being mothers, and it’s nice to take some time and do something to celebrate yourself, and remember the stage that you’re at. So, remember, it’s not just little ones that we should be celebrating; we should be celebrating ourselves as well.

L is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside, and she definitely nailed the goth goddess vibe. Here are some of my favorite images from our session!
