About Brandi

Who am I? I'm just a formerly awkward, weird, artsy kid who grew up into a confidently weird, artsy adult. I am passionate about celebrating people for who they are. I never take myself too seriously, but I always take serious care of my clients. I've been lucky enough to take photos of really rad people for over eighteen years now, and hope to continue for a long time.

Outside of being a photographer; I have been married for 18+ years, with two cooler-than-me kids, six furbabies, and a whole lot of books. I enjoy exploring off the beaten path places, and deep dives into new and interesting subjects. Staying forever in love with all the small things in life; wild mushrooms, leaves blowing in the wind and creatures big and small.

I'm here to make your portrait session experience as easy as possible. With over 18 years of experience, you can feel confident in the outcome of your session. I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have. Here are a few of the things you can expect while working with me:

- Two session lengths: A boutique session is up to two hours long, while petite sessions are between 20 and 30 minutes long.

- Location decisions are made easy with my illustrated location list. Or, use my dedicated home studio located near Spring Creek and the Dallas North Tollway.

- Support planning your outfits for the session.

- Disability knowledge and accommodations available. Never any extra charge!

- A real time review of your finished photos to help you decide on what you love without endless emails back and forth.

- Flexible product offerings that include both printed products and digital file options.

- Quick and easy booking done online via a private client portal.

Every family is unique, and deserves to be celebrated for who they are. From toddlers to teens, there is a fit for every family dynamic at every stage of life. The goal is to have fun, with lots of laughs and perhaps a few bad jokes thrown in (free of charge, of course!).Families

FAQs

What if my kids.. *do a kid thing* at our session?

There’s never a reason to stress about your little ones at our session. I
know kids are going to be kids, and I get it. I will always treat your
children with love and respect, as they deserve as small humans. This
includes disabled children, as well!

Do you offer disability accommodations?

Hell yeah! I love supporting and celebrating disabled folks. That
includes children and adults with visible and invisible disabilities.
Please contact me with any needs you have that require accommodations.

Do you photograph pets?

Absolutely! I will happily photograph friendly pets of all kinds. Dogs,
cats, birds, horses, lizards.. I love animals. You know your pet’s
temperament best, so please keep their comfort in mind when planning
your session.

Where is your studio?

I have a dedicated studio space in my home in NW Plano, near 121 and the DNT. This allows me to keep overhead down, and keep a work-life balance as a parent. Please note, while the studio door is kept closed and used strictly as a studio space, we do share our home with pets and you
might pass a cat on the way to the studio!

What if we need to reschedule?

Life happens, and sometimes we have to change things up. Please never bring a sick child (or adult!) to a session. Weather reschedules are done within 6-12 hours of your session, depending on the forecast. Reschedules for non-critical issues, or multiple reschedules, may result in a fee.

Portrait session fees range from $150 to $250, and include planning, use of my extensive prop collection, photography time, editing and a review of your edited photos in real time. This ensures you can pick the products, both print and digital, that work for your lifestyle and budget. Digital files are not included with your session fee.

Personal branding sessions start at $150, and can be held in studio, select outdoor locations or in your place of business.
