Mesa Verde and Arches National Park

Let’s load up and head back to our adventures. If you stumbled upon this page randomly, you can find part one and part two on the blog as well. After we left Colorado, we stopped by Mesa Verde for our second time. The first time we went back in 2013, the kids were both very young. In fact, O was only about three months old. Since it was March, we were unable to walk among the dwellings, but we still saw lots of great stuff, and enjoyed a rather peaceful drive exploring a beautiful site full of history. Mesa Verde is just full of incredible views as you’re driving as well. It really is one of my favorite places.

Next, we headed into Utah. It was a new state for us. Surprisingly, since we had been to all the other Southwest states before. But, there are always new things to see. We didn’t have the time to see as much as we would have liked, with all the driving hours, but we did spend time in Arches National Park, and it was truly stunning. Even just the drive there was beautiful. There are many more national parks in Utah that we would love to explore in the future. It’s hard to really understand the size and scope of Utah and it’s national parks, until you’re experiencing it!

I’ve got one more post coming up for you, to close out our 2022 Spring Break adventures. And, big dreams that one day I might be caught up editing my personal photos. Until then, I’ll be enjoying time with my fabulous clients, and I’d love for you to join my client family. Get in touch for more information.
